ELIGIBLE RACES
All race events and results must be verifiable through official sources such as event websites, published results, or recognised club records. It must also be possible to calculate a WAVA score from the published information.
The Committee reserves the right to exclude events that are not officially measured, do not hold a race licence/certificate, or are considered untypical (like cani-cross). Cross‑country events are not eligible unless they have been officially measured. However, we may accept performances that clearly exceed the required WAVA standard.
Eligible distances range from 1 mile to ultra‑marathons, including:
- 1‑mile club time trial
- Stowe 3.6m club handicap
- 5k, including any parkrun at any venue
- 5 mile, 10k, 10 mile, half marathon, and marathon
- Other officially measured events such as the Oakley 20
All events must be completed within the same calendar year (1 January – 31 December) to count towards Club Standards.
It is each member’s responsibility to submit their results using the form above so they can be reviewed and added to the Club Standards records.
CALCULATING YOUR WAVA SCORE
If you’ve completed a race and would like it to count towards your club standard, be added to your results history, or be considered for a new club record, simply complete the submission form above. The form already collects everything we need and once submitted we’ll add your result to this page.
We’ll automatically calculate your WAVA score from the details you provide.
